This unique program gives high school students the opportunity to work directly with professional artists and experience for themselves the power of transforming a script into a live theatrical performance. In 2008, three Vermont middle or high schools (public or private) will be chosen to participate in this program.

For 2008, the Page to Stage “Open Stages” project will be based on Shakespeare’s classic comedy of love and laughter, AS YOU LIKE IT.

AS YOU LIKE IT is the Weston Playhouse Theatre Company’s fall 2008 School Matinee and touring production and the topic for its March 28th Annual Teacher’s Workshop.
