Job Title: Resident Lighting
Assistant
Position available: 1
Type: Seasonal Staff
Department: Production
Reports to: Production
Manager
Work week: 6 Days,
8 - 10 hours/day. Longer during production periods.
Housing included:
Shared room, kitchen and bath in company housing
Responsibilities:
• Assist two Mainstage guest Lighting Designers
on musical productions.
• Design two Other Stages productions
• Work with Master Electrician on preparation
for load-ins and changeovers.
• Work electrics calls for hang, focus and strike.
Other electrics duties possible
Requirements:
• Graduate training in lighting design or equivalent
professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 fully produced lighting designs.
Professional credits preferred.
• Established skills in assisting: managing lighting
paperwork, organizing work calls and crews, CAD drafting,
Lightwright.
• Competency in computerized lighting consoles
(ETC preferred).
