Job Title: Master Electrician

Position(s) available: 1
Type: Seasonal Department Head
Department: Production
Reports to: Production Manager
Work week: 6 Days, 8 - 10 hours/day.
Housing included: Single room, shared kitchen and bath in company housing

Responsibilities:
• Hang, circuit, focus and maintain light plots for 6 shows on 2 stages.
• Supervise Electrics staff of one Assistant and one Intern.
• Maintain show paperwork.
• Maintain and repair all lighting equipment.
• Program and operate lighting console.
• Order equipment, materials and supplies.
• Process all necessary rental equipment.
• Work with Production Manager to ensure that all shows are completed on schedule and on budget.
• Attend all scheduled production meetings.
• Communicate with other production departments, designers, stage managers, and other guest artists to ensure the safe and effective implementation of all lighting elements.
• Oversee the safety of all electrics personnel and adherence to all applicable safety policies and regulations.
• Work with Production Manager to schedule and supervise running crews.
• Periodic review and reasonable maintenance of electrical equipment and fixtures in all production facilities.
• Coordinate with resident Sound Designer on equipment and personnel needs.

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years professional experience.
• Proven skill at planning and implementing lighting designs.
• Advanced knowledge of computer lighting consoles and Lightwright.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proven ability to motivate, manage and coordinate staff members of varying skill levels.
• Proficiency in handling budgets and scheduling.
