PLAYHOUSE ANNOUNCES TICKET PACKAGES FOR BLOCKBUSTER
2008 SEASON
The Weston Playhouse Theatre Company has announced that
2008 Season Tickets are now available. WPTC Audience
Services Manager, Barbara Ax, is particularly excited
about the 2008 season. “Season subscribers will
get more live theatre at bigger discounts than ever
before. This year’s subscription package includes
all four MainStage blockbusters plus our regular OtherStages
show.” WPTC Subscribers get priority seating,
guaranteed seat renewal, generous exchange privileges
and advance notice of special events.
The Playhouse MainStage season opens with the Tony and
Pulitzer-winning drama, Doubt,
soon to be a major motion picture starring Meryl Streep.
Next up are the Tony-winning musicals The
Light In The Piazza, which the New
York Times called “the most romantic score
since West Side Story” and Les Misérables,
one of the longest-running shows in Broadway history.
This blockbuster season finishes with Shakespeare’s
timeless comedy, As You Like It.
Playing on the WPTC’s popular OtherStages, at
Weston’s Rod & Gun Club, is the Obie-winning
one-woman comedy, No Child…
Continuing a three-year tradition, the WPTC will
also present a charming, family-friendly musical adaptation
of the popular children’s story, Click,
Clack, Moo: Cows That Type. While not
included in the regular season package, subscribers
with young family members will have the opportunity
to pre-order tickets to this popular event, which begins
performances on June 18th at OtherStages.
Theatre-goers who may not be in the area for the entire
theatre season can opt for the Theatre Company’s
popular Flex Plan which allows for
maximum flexibility in choosing show titles and dates.
The WPTC Box Office can help patrons decide which ticket
package is best for them.
The WPTC Box Office is now taking subscription orders
at 802.824.5288. Visit the WPTC Web site at www.westonplayhouse.org
